Yoga
The recovery process is a reconstruction undertaking of the body, mind, and spirit and it is easy to focus on the mental and spiritual aspects of healing while neglecting the physical. That is why at A Bridge to Recovery we offer access to private and group Yoga therapy led by our staff RYT 200 Certified Yoga Instructor.
Yoga is a series of postures and movements designed to loosen up the muscles and the mind to prepare for meditation. After concentrating on the breath in a formatted string of challenging positions the body is allowed to experience the sweet relief of total relaxation which frees the mind to drift into a state of peace. Over time this blissful state is able to be retained in your daily journey as you begin to conduct yourself with poise and serenity.
